Monday Menus

I need an extra day to recover from the weekend.  I guess that is a sign it was a good one :)

We started Saturday with a CC meet 1.5 hours away, and then off to a football game.  We came home for a an hour and then headed out to church.  We ended the day watching ND barely beat my Boilers.

Ann and I, along with my niece and sil drove to Fort Wayne for a a bridal shower for another niece getting married next month. I came home and left with Joe for a surprise date night to the Michael Buble concert.  A sweet parent at school gifted them to me and it was a huge blessing.  Buble puts on an incredible shoe, he is such a talented performer.  It was a nice night out, which we haven't had in probably a year!

Monday
Beef tips in the crock pot
noodles
watermelon

Tuesday
French dip sandwiches
watermelon
mac and cheese

Wednesday
Chicken caesar salad
fruit

Thursday
Tortellini with marinara

Menus on a Tuesday

Whom have I in heaven but you?

And there is nothing on earth that I desire besides you.

My flesh and my heart may fail,

but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.” Ps. 73: 24-26

This is my prayer today. God is my strength when I am feeling overwhelmed, and that is me today.  Thankful I have a heavenly father to help carry the load!

Tuesday
Homemade crock pot spaghetti sauce

Wednesday
Pizza Calzones and Ham and cheese calzones
watermelon

Thursday
Lazy cooks chicken
corn on the cob
watermelon

Friday
Leftovers

Saturday and Sunday
Baseball and soccer
This is what I did all weekend.  Watched my baby play baseball, I love it!

And then we visited my MIL for her birthday.
Sweet baby Sydney!

HE IS THE CHAMPION

our 7 year old delightful son ( and sometimes naughty!).  Correctly picked Duke to win the National Championship to win the Bennett Family Bracket Challenge.

well done Andrew, well done.

It was announced today that Brad Stevens the Butler basketball coach signed a 12 year contract extension to remain as coach of the Bulldogs.

well done Butler, well done.

As long as I am giving out compliments.....Gordon Hayward(Butler's best player who is a sophomore and considering leaving school to jump to the NBA) stay in school... so I can say....

well done Gordon, well done.

Seriously... it is a tough decision for Gordon.  He is an academic all-american.  Its not like he couldnt EVER go back and get his degree.  Yet if he is injured he could hurt his draft status and therefore risk millions in money.

However... my stance is...stay in school.. enjoy the time with your classmates.
