Stats Class

Tia is doing well in her stats class. For those of you who dont know she started back to school during this semester to be able to enroll in the fall in the IUPUI nurse practitioner's program. She is very diligent and is doing well in a class that is very difficult and not in her "major" area.

So she has been studying a lot and doing a lot of homework. She is hoping that because she has been to every class and has done all of her homework that it will help influence her grade in a positive way. Isnt that the way it is suppose to work?

I am proud of her.

The Cubs

but did anyone see what Kerry Wood did with the Indians yesterday?

Gave up a 3 run home run in the top of the ninth inning.. my wife keeps saying," I told you so!"... or translated "HE IS A BUM!"

I am finally getting around to post some things. This is a 5K Aaron was in with a friend of mine, Colleen. He came in second in his age group. Colleen won her age group! The rest of us walked it. The underground railroad run is a fund raiser for our school scholarship programs.
The top picture is of Amy's friend Brianna. She won her age division too. She will be thrilled to have mad the Bennett Blog, I'm sure.

Brackets and Cubs

Aaron won our bracket challenge. Annie was second and her bracket was delightfully messy! :)

Andrew was hurt by Villanova and Michigan State (non-#1 seeds) making it to the final four.

Amy was 3rd, Andrew, Tia and then I finished last. Wake Forest didnt make it very far... ugh.

Cubs are off to a 2-2 start.... their new closer Kevin Gregg blew the save last night vs the Brewers. Tia asked me what was wrong.... my mood changed after the game...hmmmm maybe I have a problem?
